I got new fabric for my Ariel fluke, as I really dont like my current fluke already loooool! I like this fabric much more as its sparkly!

LKD ~ LOVE your alice and I think Fairy Mary turned out great and I KNEW IT! I knew you were doing Periwinkle because you commented on how her seams are awhile back xDD how did you get all the veiny designs on there? Did you paint it? To the girls who are visiting FL I've been seeing you guys in costume on Cait's FB and you look fantastic!!!! ADSF....I wish I could work on something Disney SO BAD right now but I have 5 Final Fantasy Commissions and need to pull together something for Halloween to get done by the end of the month X. x Keep on making fantastic stuff guys!!! Furie ~ It has something to do with it xD I've made them in the past (only they were for a show and Prinnies from Disgaea.) and after I finished those I told myself I wanted one and never got around to doing it. Then I forgot until you started posting about the Simba one xDD you have renewed my want for one badly xDD

Sasha- Haha I actually didn't know I was making her back when I commented on her seams!! XD It did make me want to make her though!
Anywho! Piccuus!  Periwinkle!! Once I get enough funds (My account after florida is under the $5 range >>  I'm going to buy a wig for her :3 This was just for now XP Only white wig I had. Aaand I'm getting my wings made by I won't get them until late Jan/Early Feb   My Mum in her Fairy Mary 8D  aaand My Alice...SOOO PROUD OF THIS DRESS!! I am going to lengthen the aprons straps cause the pic I used as a reference they weren't crossed in the back (even though I could have sworn they were) and hello they are >< aaand the wig..lol I'm going to buy another and sew the wefts from this one to it..somehow I tore the skin cap (even though i was being more careful than I am with my other wigs ><) so I couldn't get the bangs the way I wanted Q^Q It's also too thin for my liking XD

i finally have some progress to share!
 I am almost done! i have to hem the bottom and make the belt still. I've been sewing like crazy the past week cuz I finally got a new sewing machine after not having a working one for about 3 weeks. Here's one where you can see the sleeves ha ha. Those were a pain!

Simplicity 2813 (Snow and Cinderella) would work for the sleeves, cape, collar, and headband. Simplicity 2354 would work for the dress, although you might want to round the neckline a smidge. The pattern has bust measurements of 40 to 54 inches (sizes 18W-32W). I'm finally doing a Disney related costume!!!!! I've wanted to participate in this thread for who-knows-how-long. I'm making an Evil Queen costume to match my best friend's Snow White for Halloween, and will maybe post progress pics as I work on it. Just wanted to tell you ladies, and occasional gents, that I admire your work so very much. I can only aspire to sew and craft so well! @LKD: Periwinkle*ahhhhhhhhh! Great job! |
