So I'm cosplaying Juliet Starling at the end of the month. My body isn't where I want to be regarding showing off my stomach so I came up with an idea on how to cameflouge it until my next con I cosplay her as. Being a ex cheerleader we were sleeves under our shells to keep from the cold but those only covered the upper portion.

So my question do you think I could pull off wear something like this (look below) and still be noticed as Juliet Starling? I could imagine that they would have something similar (probably just covering the upper part) but hell it's cold in October lol.

Why would I go with something closer to my skin tone when 1/4 of the outfit is white?

Do what makes you comfortable. You plan on toning up a bit more but in the meantime if you can wear it slightly modified and want to, go ahead you aren't doing this for the naysayers. As far as recognizability, I think so. I mean how many characters have that outfit/look like that?

They probably said that so it just looks like skin instead of a white "shirt". I could be wrong though.

I'd almost suggest just making a different version of the top that covers the mid drift like most high school cheerleader. (: It would look a bit more official I think (:

There are other alternate outfits that Juliet has that you can choose from that are not so "showing".

I know there are but I already ordered the outfit and there's no money or time to get another one

The best option you could have went with would be to order a modified version of her outfit, making it a one piece cheerleading uniform instead of a two piece. BUT, since you already ordered the outfit, you could always like the people above mentioned, get a skin tone leotard. I've seen a lot of Panty's from Panty and Stocking do this, and honestly upon first look I couldn't tell it wasn't actually their skin.

I'll look into the nude colored leo. If I can't find something maybe I'll just put some fake blood on my stomach to do some camelofughing. If anything I'm worried about the stechmarks/excess skin I have on my stomach from my pregnancy But of course, the blood could just make my stomach a focus point, but I could always place my chain saw in front of it.

Do you think I would be fine without altering the outfit, or you think I should. No comments are going to hurt my feelings. I see one thing in a mirror and I wanna know what other see. PS I was really sucking it in but I was also really bloated lol.

The funny thing is...that's sort of what my stomach is like (I might be a tad bit larger IDK), and while it bugs me to have my own stomach that way, I don't think it's so bad on someone else.

Thats how I am about my hair and make up lol, it never looks "good" on me but it does on someone else.
