Howdy folks.

After disappearing for a while, I have come back with a new idea for a gundam cosplay. This time around, the Victory Gundam from, well, Victory Gundam. I just loved the design of it, and after building several models of it, I have decided I really want to do it. But of course, I have some questions of how to approach the designing the cosplay.

Here's a picture of what it looks like.


I have a general idea of what to do. I'll make the under parts (basically what will be actually touching me) in flat shapes, and add the curves and what not using craft foam and hopefully other methods, though I am not too sure what. I am also debating about the beam shield, as I have no idea how to mimic that in the slightest bit.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Can't help you too much, but may I suggest the Second Victory or the V2 Gundam? I'd love to see someone pull off the Wings of Light properly...
