Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Well, it was certainly pretty to look at but I didn't feel any special attachment to the story. :\

Resident Evil 6. Introduced a cool new character. I'll give it a 3/5.

Dawk Shadowz.
After watching this movie a second time, I've realized something about myself; I am an indomitable, unreasonable idealist when it comes to cinema. Like, to a gross and kind of masochistic extent. I like movies more often than not for what they could have been, which is exactly why I had to watch Dark Shadows more than the sufficient once-over to determine that like incandescent light bulbs, the movie had a lot to offer, but roughly 95% of its potential energy burnt off in a wave of useless heat instead of actual light. If they had only devoted an extra half hour to character development, I moaned, if they just had placed a couple hints here and there that the daughter was werewolf, snipped that kitsche final fight scene and replaced it with some meaningful dialogue relevant to everything that had happened during the past hour, if Heather whatserface had been given more lines actually befitting a co-protagonist/believable love interest and not a robotic plot device... You could have made something of yourself, I whispered, You could have been something.

Dredd. It was awfully awesome. But only if you like ridiculously awful movies like I do. No plot, Judge Dredd never takes off his helmet, token cute blonde girl, pretty much only one set, criminal underbelly, explosions, and awful script. It basically felt like the first mission in a FPS video game. However, Karl Urban also played John Grimm in Doom, Vaako in Riddick, a "gritty" Pocahontas-like film with no dialogue, and other such things so...y'know.
It's kinda his thing.

I saw a trailer for the movie The Collection recently in theaters, and it looked interesting. After looking up info on it, I found out that The Collection is actually a sequel. Found the first movie, The Collector, and watched it. Not too big of a fan of gory movies, but I did find the movie interesting enough that I'll watch the sequel when it comes out.

The last movie I watched was The Avengers, which was actually better than I thought it would be.
I'd give it... hmm... maybe 4/5? |

Had a horror movie marathon at friend's house, and it ended up turning into a foreign horror movie marathon XD
Watched Ju-on White Ghost and Black Ghost White [REC] Gotta say I was really surprised by White, and enjoyed it quite a bit. I would recommend it if you want a scary movie to watch, and it's on Netflix ![]() |

"Cabin in the Woods". Funny, fun, with a side helping of horror. Oh, and lots of references to other horror "stuff". And cowritten by Joss Whedon.
