Great thing with Pony costumes is they can be pretty much whatever you like that fits with the rest of the style of outfit you imagine (unless you're doing a full on mascot type) I've seen Dashies with both short and long wigs and they all look great!

Wanted a 'showgirl' based theme & everyone did their own costumes. Flim & Flam even had a backpack of hard cider! ;D I'm Rarity btw!

Depends on your budget, but Arda does make two rainbow wigs. I honestly don't know of any others, only because I've never actually looked into rainbow wigs. ^^;

Finally finished everything! But the wings are making me so mad right now! Might go full human version w/ no wings or tail, as long as the costume itself totally gives off the RDash vibe. I mean, it's the creativity that counts rite? Aside from that tho, HOORAY!! *Mini happy dance*

@PSY: No exact date, but it's confirmed that season three will air sometime next month.

I actually started watching the show because I wanted to cosplay the characters from it, but I love this show so much! Anything with that much singing is an immediate favorite on my list! XD
Originally I really wanted to cosplay Fluttershy, but now I'm leaning more towards slightly creepy, and totally misunderstood Princess Luna or Princess Cadence, mostly because of the this day aria. (My favorite song in the whole show!)

@Jia Those costumes made me physically shudder. *yuck*
