I never got into The Punisher, even at the time where I read comics (I was underage), it felt too violent for my tastes.

The picture Arc posted kinda validates my thoughts, ooohhhh --- all the superheroes heads on a pike in a row while dude walks around with guns. WHO SAID COMICS AREN'T FANTASIES FOR MEN.

I really liked Thor back then, the movie shat on my nostalgia --- nothing of value was lost. I also thought Iron Man was better in comic form back then than in movie form.

Wait, I'm just doing the annoying "The original media was better *snort*" schtick --- what have I become!

The only upcoming movies I plan to see are Wreck-It Ralph and SkyFall, I know of no upcoming comics movies I want to see :/

Lmao yes it is, but Gwen plus heels equals awkward camera shots to compensate.

Punisher always felt like he took all the mutants and such down a notch unlike DC which just glorifies them most of the time. Frank is human, just extremely skilled, a human can fight a super hero/villain, that sort of thing.

Since I decided to cosplay a genderbent Doctor, I was like "I need to get those Dalek purses from Target." They ran out at the one next to my house but the Super Target still had them and on clearance so I got both colors. They're still available online as well.

Crap, a female friend I was interested who turned me down about a month ago, wants to go with me to a convention coming up. Not sure what to do since the trip will be kind of long, and it might feel a little awkward since I still sort of like her. Plus we would be together most of the con too...Might be sort of painful :/

That's a valid point --- not the impression my mind had when I read the first comics featuring him :/

To be fair, my comics knowledge is outdated and doesn't take in account the multitude of reboots and different versions they've done of superheroes. My view was brought back because, even 20 years after the initial reading, the first picture I see of him gives me the same impressions.

That would only work out if you didn't feel attracted to her. If she offered, she's still friendly to you then the only real awkwardness might come from you --- not really anything out of the ordinary, it's okay to feel that way and if you're not comfortable spending an entire con with her (I'd be iffy about it), then don't.

You know she turned you down, you could be at this point hanging on a "what if" if she hadn't.

We were close months back even hanging out almost everyday. We still talk now, just don't see each other often anymore. Seems like she pretends I never even asked her. Another thing that may be awkward is I'm going to the con with another friend who has never met her but knows I asked her out before. Friend thinks she lead me on a bit too. It might make for a very awkward car ride and con experience...

I thought it was Quentin Tarrantino with the confirmed foot fetish? Whedon didn't even direct the Iron Man films, it was Jon Favreau. Number 3 is being done by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang)

But what Spaz said makes sense, they need the two of them to be of similar height because it makes framing a lot easier. Plus there's the whole macho super hero thing where they have to look tall and dominating.

You know people often change their haircuts and apperance in real life? So what

For the record my favourite super hero is Shadow Cat.

Can walk through walls, pet dragon...
