Being tiered from working at a loud convention hall with thousands of screaming people.But what pissed me off was that after,(I suppose you could say "flirted")with another girl while people stood behind him wanting to ask questions.

Oh,I was the Celty with the helmet that didn't slant down and had a Soul eater bag.

AX just released a press release of their attendance this year with a record of 49,400 unique attendees.

Just as a sidenote..

The elections for the AX SPJA Board of Directors is going to occur this month, in October.

I guess we'll get to find out by Halloween, whether HCoregamer00 got reelected.

Or if Marc Perez comes back again as "El Presidente".

Isn't there some kind of limit for maximum terms or consecutive terms served by the directors? I vaguely remember something like 3 consecutive terms (???), I think it was mentioned to me once but my memory could also be way off...

I'm not sure either if there is an actual term limit for the SPJA.

Unfortunately, it's not up to us as to who gets to be elected as the President.

The election is not open to the public or to the AX attendees.

I guess we'll find out after Halloween who gets elected.

I guess there is no limit on how long one can be a CEO, but modern-day, it seems like CEO's don't last very long (anywhere from a single year to a couple of years).

According to the SPJA Bylaws a Board Director can serve three consecutive terms (2 years each). After that, they need to staff for one year before reapplying for Board Candidate.

The membership vote will be held at the end of the month.

Well, AEG says that the stadium is a go, but the NFL wants a stadium built in Chavez Ravine instead. So, the planned upgrade to the LACC may wait, or it may not. It's hard to tell.

Either way, the current word is that it's unlikely any deals for an NFL deal will be made for the 2013 season.

It still seems like a few years off, I mean it's premature to start building until you have a team lined up. Honestly these things are hard to predict, everything is a 'maybe' until it actually happens.

Okay, the vote has started for the SPJA Board of Directors and the Membership Committee. The polls should close at the end of Halloween and we should know the results soon.

I am running for reelection on the basis that I helped SPJA's financial situation and that I added more checks and balances to ensure that SPJA never has such catastrophic debt again. I am also running on a platform to improve transparency and accountability throughout the organization, like what I have been doing in the past two years.

Here is hoping that the voters agree with me that this is paramount for the organization's future.
