Wing help

Hello everyone! I just recently signed up and this is my first post! I am in need of help with my wing cover design. My big issue right now is that the wings will not fold closed 100% with cloth attached to it. The cloth gets bunched up in the folding parts of the wings and rips. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? I thought about putting a circular piece of cardboard around the folding parts so the fabric would not bunch and tear. Any ideas are appreciated!

I figured out how to stop the fabric from bunching up in the folds. I used a low tech solution that is light weight. I grabbed some old milk jugs and cut those to the shape I needed. After cutting them I then went ahead and attach them to the wings making sure they stuck out on side of the folding area forcing the fabric to go around the folds. When the wings close now the cloth rides the cut out milk jug piece and never drops into the folding parts of the wings. I had to increase the length of the fabric I was using but it works like a charm.
