Okay, so I want to make a Latias (from Pokemon, of course) gijinka costume. I have ideas for simple armwarmers (red), a wig(also red), and headband(white).

But I need help with the dress. I don't want anything too short... Down to right above the knees would be good. A sort of tunic would be best, like the A dress here: http://www.simplicity.com/images/product/large/1801.jpg
The main issue I'm having is where to put the colors.. The dress I showed you doesn't look like it'd be good with more than one color, but that might just be me.

Might post an example of what I have in mind if I can draw something acceptable.

Do you have a particular esthetic in mind? For example, the dress pattern is feminine. Do you to do something feminine/girly?
On another note, I would go with a silvery white wig, and red mask-headband combo. The blue triangle could be either a design on the outfit or maybe a pendant for a necklace. The pattern is nice, but I don't like it for this pokemon...

The pattern is really nice, I just couldn't see it for Latias necessarily. It's too flowy for such an angular/sleek pokemon. But that's just me.
