If you want to be convincing as a male dressed as a male character and your legs are going to show.... Well, when is the last time one of your guy friends shaved his legs for a cosplay? It's a giveaway. If you're fine with people figuring out you're a lady or if your legs are going to be hidden anyway, *shrugs* ^_^

The only time I shave my legs is for cosplay since I always end up cosplaying one female within the weekend although if I were crossplaying someone that had there legs showing I'd keep the leg hair in all its wild glory.

As a handful of people have already mentioned, there really aren't many male characters that actually have leg hair. Unless you're cosplaying a super-masculine character, then frankly I wouldn't do it.
