Holy crap I haven't been on here in forever. I wanted to stop spamming my Facebook with my cosplay ramblings, so I'm back!
Tomorrow begins Day 1 of Kill Myself While Trying to See If This Pattern Will Fit. I've lost some weight recently and the dress I had been working on is way too big (and I'm too lazy to rip out stitches and try again). Hooray for scrap fabrics I'm never going to use again!

Sooo, a really fun con just ended, what a great weekend!
Saturday as Porrim I met quite a few nice fellow Homestucks and Sunday as Mukuro with my child!Fran was great, too! Now I'm just awaiting the results of my Mukuro shoot. :3

Oh wow, I'm finally making progress on my Twilight Sparkle sweater vest (which I started back in April I think?) and I should be able to finish later this week! Still no idea when I'll actually cosplay her but at least with this finished I can use my dress-form to work on some other outfits (like my equally neglected Tatiana outfit.....)

Comissioner got back to me on Morgiana's bracelets!
 A little more than what I was expecting so it looks like I'm going to have to sell off some cosplay stuff when I go home over Thanksgiving break.

An Ukyo wig shouldn't be hard to find but it is. I had one picked out from WigFever but they no longer sell it. It's just a long straight brown with bangs, nothing too special but all my go-to wig shops have nothing that works.

My dad dropped money off for the week and I'm so thankful for it. I'm flat broke as a college student.
Temptation, Temptation. Nope, I shall not buy beautiful wigs with this. I shall be responsible and buy the things I need for this week like a new notebook, detergent etc...

Earlier this year I was working on a flapper Fem!America costume. I didn't like how it ended up so just put it away. Now I see that Simplicity has a flapper pattern so I might just try to make this work. The original was strapless and basically a big rectangle so I think I can take it apart and reuse the fabric. Both the fabric and fringe were expensive.
