Gah! Stop it, cosplay ideas! Stop it! It looks like now I'll probably be doing a surprise cosplay for some friends of mine at Winter SacAnime, and I'm suddenly in the middle of an Adventure Time group as Fiona, and on top of that I'm really tempted to cosplay Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph. Granted, Fiona and the surprise cosplay in question are pretty simple, but I'm so swamped with work to do at the moment... OTL

I need to go see the eye doctor soon, to check my prescription, as my glasses are now on their last leg, since my friend accidentally stepped on them. I'm debating on whether or not to try contacts. Since it might make it easier for pictures. Since 95% of the time I cosplay somebody who doesn't wear glasses. And removing my glasses for a picture is what got me into my broken glasses mess to begin with... (Although it was completely my fault since my glasses weren't secure on my head. If they were, they would have stayed on, and my friend wouldn't have stepped on them.)

Won my first cosplay contest. Currently too excited for words! Eeeeeee!
That dress just... took so much work, it feels fantastic to see it getting such overwhelmingly positive feedback/recognition. I really just don't know what to say.

I wanted to make my Christmas Town Namine dress next weekend but my mom has her exam (And I need my mom to help, since it will be my first time making something with sleeves), so we're gonna make it the weekend after.
On another note, my Refia boots should be here pretty soon! And I wanna order my wigs for AN (Plus my Namine wig) soon.

I REALLY want to cosplay Rufus Barma after reading the latest volume of Pandora Hearts.
...am I a bad person that I want to see if I can get my 83 year-old Nana to wear a fancy dress and sit in her wheelchair and take pictures with me when I'm Rufus? XD She already kinda looks like Cheryl Rainsworth, and she loves seeing me cosplay...

Turns out I do have a Sally Beauty Supply. Funny thing is, I've passed it a million times but have just never noticed it because it was so small and hidden. I not only got my first foam head but also these wonderful clips... that I want to throw in frustration because wig styling is no easy task. 100000x respect for anyone who styles their wigs and makes them look great.

I was suppost to do something in cosplay this weekend... But I have a dental problem that is causing my cheek to swell. I've been trying to get in to a dentist but the ones who take my insurance are at a seminar ether on the outer islands or on the mainland. So I have the worst luck in the world and idk if its gonna keep me from the cosplay event on Sunday.
Anyways, I've been trying to figure out what to get with my birthday/christmas money. Drown myself with fabric or buy a pre-made cosplay from something I've wanted to cosplay for a while? Simply saving the money doesn't work since if I don't spend it my parents will spend it for me...regardless of the fact they gave the money to me in the first place.
