-Big Macintosh
-Breaburn -Soarin' Wonderbolt -Shining Armor -Royal Guards (either Celestias or Lunas...I prefer Lunas) -Flim or Flam (or both if you can convince a friend, but be warned you might want to learn their song because people might request it) -Doctor Whooves theres more, but those are the main ones

I would gender bend honestly. It's so cute when guys dress up as ponies like rainbow dash or fluttershy. I saw some really nice ones at the Calgary Con last year. Just make sure your outfit is the color of the pony, you have the ears, the wings if needed and tail

I saw a genderbent Rainbow Dash at my last con (I too was dressed as Rainbow Dash when I bumped into him XD) and it turned out awesome!
Be prepared to brohoof a lot when you do...no matter which pony XD
