The style of the Kanekalon Beast is good for Riku with some spiking, but I worry about the length. It looks okay for Deep Dive Riku, but for KH2 Riku I used the Punky in color 60. Flattened the spikes, combed out the crimpy fluff, and streaked with blue and purple markers. No cutting needed, just straightening and easy spiking. ^^

if ur looking for a wig the NEW PUNKY wig at cosworx.com is the best one ive been able to find. its made out of kankalon? so u can dye it. and u can style it as u need.

Im having a problem with the riku wig i want either the Deep Dive style or the KH2 style.

Alicia is the best way i think. so i might use that

I'm cosplaying Riku (in his outfit with the white jacket, black zip up, and jeans) for a con in January, but I'm having wig dilemna. I color I'm going for is like a really light gray like this:

Should I buy a white wig and dye it (with the markers)? If so, what markers and what colors should I mix or use to get a similar color?

I found a gray wig, but I think it may be too dark and shiny.

I'm planning on cutting it to the right style too. (Or would it be easier to cut this style instead: http://www.starkewig.com/wf/images/Wigs/W/W23_1.jpg).

I'm not new to wigs, but I'm a virgin with coloring and styling the wig to get the best effects -.- I was considering using the Alicia wig highly suggested, but I feel the bangs are just too short.

@ketsueki raven: I used an Ivy wig in silver for my Riku, if that helps any. Basically all I had to do was trim some layers into it and the bangs are suuuuuuuper long ^-^

I think the grey wig you found would be fine. Granted, what you're showing us is a store photo and probably doesn't look like that in flourescent lighting but the style looks alright. I pm'ed you with the streaking marker info so that should help you a bit. As for the Ivy...you really would need to spike that wig a lot and cut a lot of layers into it to get it to look like Riku. And it's an expensive wig...but I guess it depends on if you're going for in-game Riku with the thick, colored, spiky hair or ending Riku with silvery, shiny, flowy hair. =P

hey can someone help me please... im cosplaying as blindfolded riku and i found a wig i can use, but the problem is that since i live in australia... i can never find Got2b glued or anything like that! someone help!

First, in the future don't necro threads..this is WAY old..Make a new thread next time..

Second. You don't need that stuff for him. All you need is any strong spray really. you don't want super spikes so that stuff ain't needed. If you have a heat resistant wig, use a blow dryer on med and use it a little after you spray to dry it, but it you have a NON heat resistant wig, use it on low and barely use it at all
