Magi: Sinbad Costume help and Vessels Help

So I've been going to cons for 4 years now, and I have not yet cosplayed once this year. I want next November to be the first of many, now I want to know how I can begin with a Magi cosplay of Sinbad

My goal is to make the Costume (Robe, Hat, Shirt, Jewelery, and Shoes.) And I was going to buy a wig, and possibly contacts online.
So how can I go about this? I want this to be very cost efficient, my cost limit is between 100 to 200 dollars.
I have a basic sewing kit at home currently, but I can get my hands on using a sewing machine if needed. (I have various people I can ask.)
So for clothing, what would be the best cost efficient fabric I can buy? And are there any existing guides for toga's/robes?

And...

Plastic.. Mold.. How do you make jewelery exactly...? And the knife.. X.X....
So how would I go about making these, with only household tools? (I don't mind going out and buying things, but I want to stay on the inexpensive side.)

so oddly enough u can "ghetto" cosplay this. well at least for the robes and save some money. u can use a bed sheet and make it into the pants and robes (one of my club members did that for aladdin from the same series, and until she told us we had no clue!).
on that note, i still dont see this being possible for less than 200.... just looking soley at the wig, it looks like a good 60-80 dollar piece due to the size and the work. if ur still into doing it then for the jewerly you can cast the gems out of hot glue (theres a great tutorial out there, but im mobile and cant link int....) and do the rest of the pieces (the gold and what not) out of clay.

Yeah I don't think Sinbad can happen for cheapsies. The sword would probably be about $60 in materials (mostly paint oddly enough) alone. Well if you would like to try, I didn't really document it well, but I made the necklace and bangles for Xiba. Since I'll be cosplaying with a Magi group this spring I've researched how to make most of Sinbad's stuff already.

I'd go about making it out of sintra (PVC) plastic, and socketing all the gems into it with apoxie sculpt. Additionally the sword wouldn't be hard since I've been knee deep in swords this year. Utilize wood, plastics and bondo filler to get the sword cranked out. I've documented all of this stuff on my blog if you want some step by step stuff!

If you need any more help give me a shout!

Xiba's jewelery. Apoxie sculpt, wood and plastic.

Rin's sword. Wood, plastic and bondo. Very basic sword.

Yeah, Sinbad cosplay won't be cheap. I spent over 300 for his cosplay; Including the wig and jewelry.
