Question Assassins Creed sword help

I might just suck it up and go ahead and pay the 90$ online for it but I was just curious if it might be worth it to make my own. Is there anyone who can tell me how I can either get a cheaper one somewhere or how to make one?

I've done a lot of swords this last year, and I have been using a wood/bondo/apoxie sculpt method to get a lot of details done into the swords. Typically I spend about $20 on wood, $20 on paint/primer. Bondo is negligible, but if you don't have a can already you'll spend another $20.

Here are the articles I've written on my swordmaking. I linked them from simplest to most complex. If you have any questions don't hesitate to give me a shout!
