[Kagomekai]

So as many of you may or may not know Sailor Moon will be receiving a whole new anime which this time will be more loyal to the manga, this reboot starts the summer of 2013.

So what are everyone's thoughts on this?

I am currently picking up the re-releases of the manga to keep myself patient for the reboot, what are you guys doing? I am also cosplaying Sailor Mars for Anime North 2013 which if I know the summer release times of the summer anime season, is right before the time the reboot will be coming out.

I'm doing Nehelaina over them summer at Anime North human (pre-crazy) and FanExpo full pale purple body paint and long hair versions myself because of the interest the reboot brought.

I don't know if I'm more excited for new Sailor Moon or The Hobbit movie. Well at least they're not released at the same time because otherwise my head might explode, lol.

Hopefully there will be design/animation previews soon. WANT NAO

Guess this is a sign to finally watch all of Sailor Stars too? I never finished... :P

@Emrys: I want previews of the animation too, unfortunately we probably won't until at the very earliest January. And that's if we are lucky, but it doesn't hurt to hope.

I skipped the first half of StarS due to it not even relating to the manga. >.>

But, I'm so effing excited about the reboot! Glad to hear it's sticking to the manga (yay no filler episodes!).

I'm glad too that we won't have to endure filler. I'm trying to get my boyfriend into it. All the filler in the old series aggravated him so he stopped watching.(I had him watch it in japanese with subs). The manga he said he would try to read, so here's hoping he'll like the manga and in turn like the reboot.

but that's where Nehelaina really shines! The only boss to get a happy ending too in the Anime. (every villain dies in the managa. haha)
You should watch her showdown episodes at least, but not really repleted at all and just filler to round out Stars.

She was the villain I disliked the most, so I really didn't care what happened to her in the anime. And not every villain dies. :B I'm excited to see Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon (as well as all of Galaxia's other Scouts) in anime form.

I'm so with everyone else on the excitement for following the manga more closely and getting rid of the ridiculous fillers. I grew up on the anime, but the manga was so amazing that I'm happy to see something that will be more true to the original source.

My cousin forced me to watch/read Sailor Moon for the first time this week, and I'd say she picked a good time to do it! Weirdly enough, the character I was most drawn to cosplay-wise is Zoisite and I'm really hoping to cosplay him soonish in honor of the new anime ^^
