So, I'm getting an Akaito cosplay made, and I need some help on a few things (ref at the bottom)..

So I can't find a good picture of his shoes in this specific outfit..I have seen cosplayers with normal black shoes, then I have seen some with things like these:

I know these are meant for the WHITE/red outfit so I don't think they'd work but yea..I don't want to spend that kinda money if I can help it..

Then there's the headset..
Anyone know a cheap one? I really more want one that's like this (if they make any):
Clip on headphones, but with a Mic on it..I don't want the over the head thing..But I want to use them as headphones as well..If they don't, how would I make really REALLY good looking ones out of real clip ons?

for the shoes i think just plain black boots would be perfect... as for the headset, i always say dont use real headphones for vocaloid cosplays just cause it becomes hard to hear during the day... id make them out of foam and foam core w clips to get them into the hair

Well there's no reason to make them out of foam because they are so small..I can ewasily buy a cheap pair at walmart..I would rather not use fake ones. My mp3 player is hella loud and it's a preference I have and won't change my mind

Have you ever been to a Flea market for the headphones?

They tend to have a bunch of neat stuff there. Although a bit dirty they usually come through with what you need at a much cheaper price in comparison to retail.

I wish I could..There are litterally zero anywhere near me....That's something I would have done too and thought about but alas, it is impossible....Sadface....
I know some pawn shops take them with MP3 players but the ones up here don't have the kind with a mic..I still don't know if they even exist....

Yes they have to be black with red accents to match my cosplay
Then you put a mic on one of the earphones..That's what I am looking for..Or..If I can figure out how to make a mic connect to this (the mic doesn't have to work, but it has to look real) without it looking like I broke one and just glued it on..But a smooth transistion..If that makes enough sense..

See that? That's the cover art on the box. See how he has that mic that goes to his ear? That's what I need, But one that I can use as real headphones to listen to music, and red rather then blue..

ive gutted a few headphones before
they are mostly the same on the insides
if you want to go all out id say take the parts from a mic set and put them in that set
y just have to drill a hole for the mic to pop out

but and easy fix is to drill a hole and glue a fake on in
ive made them from the straws from cans of WD40, compressed air, and other cans that have the thin red tube like a coffee straw

add a bit of scrap wonderflex, friendly plastic, or what have ya for the tip
then paint

im not sure if this helps
but i hope it gives a few ideas

Oh, it would be kool to figure out how to make it come out as if it's PART of the headphone..That's more what I was looking to do..
