So I am thinking of going as Barret AC version for my next convention and the part that I am having trouble with is finding reference pictures for Barret's Gun Arm. I've found just a few pictures of half of his arm, but no full shots or detailed shots. Does anyone know of any places that I can look for these pictures or know of any sites that have commissioned this prop?

Depends what you make it out of.

But relatively speaking and being very modest, I'd estimate $30 minimum to $50 maximum.

That one looks like cardboard..You can go to the post office and get a crap ton of those huge boxes for free..That will really cut down your costs..

Oh wow really I thought it would be more than that lol. and that's where i usually go for my cardboard, that or the Dumpster, my neighbors throw out a crap load of it

It's mostly just detail work which seems to be the most troublesome.

The base is simple enough to create. It's just the detail which is going to be a pain.

Yes it will be and I'm not sure on what to use or even on how to attach everything. I don't want this prop falling apart like my last one, JasonTerror knows all about that lol

Ahh, so you and Jason are buddies huh.

The quickest method is using some pre-existing parts. Most of it are cylinders, circles, and some straight angles. Then from there is just the detail work.

But then I'd question how close to functional do you want this as in do you want the gatling barrel to rotate?

I don't want this thing to function. If it was the only thing I was working on then sure....but I have 4 other cosplays to work on in the same time frame

And as far as you Mr. JasonTerror, I'll be in the area next week for Thanksgiving, but I could probably work with you more come Decemeber when I have my winter break for school

Alright. I'm not working so I got a lot of free time between applying places and commissions when I get them. Just text me, I think I already know how to do this.
