I have the wonderfully dated Barbara for my middle name. I don't know any Barbaras younger than baby boomers. But there was no escaping it, since both of my grandmothers are Barbaras.

Yeah, I always raise my eyebrows if I see someone young with an "old lady" name. (e.g., my grandmothers names are/were Muriel and Nolaine. I've NEVER seen anyone under 65 with that name. Likewise with Pearl, Beryl, Gladdis, Betty, Agnes, etc.)

This is slightly irrelevant but I know two girl Tylers. It's weird because I never thought of Tyler as one of those names that could be used for both girls and boys.

Yesterday (since it's past midnight) was my birthday. I got cream Converse hi-tops (for my Tenth Doctor cosplay), the entire series of Daria on DVD, season 5 of Futurama, and a mockingjay necklace. My parents also ordered me an iPhone but it hasn't arrived yet. It's probably in our mailbox right now. My sister couldn't get black Friday off so we went up to Chicago to celebrate Thanksgiving a week early.
