Join us in the Inland Empire's premiere Lunar Festival. There will be taiko drums, dragon dance, fashion shows, fireworks, and cosplay events! Best of all parking is FREE and the event has no entrance fee.

Stop by this event to show off your wondeful cosplay, make new friends to hang out with in future conventions, showcase your wonderful talent and skills, and network with some of the best and brightest cosplay photographers in Southern California. Just remember, Riverside Lunar Festival is a family event, so keep your cosplay, skits, dances, and singing FAMILY FRIENDLY.

Cosplay Central for the event will be at the pagoda in front of the library. Feel free to explore the sights and sounds of the event.

I don't know if this is a pervasive problem or if my computer's just being a butt, but when I click on this link, it takes me to a general list of Facebook events I've been invited to, as opposed to the page for this event specifically.

Is this the first year that cosplay is going to be part of the Lunar Festival? I've performed music in the festival twice now, but never noticed any cosplay things going on.

I do apologize, apparently facebook changed the settings from a Public Event to a Friends event, I changed it back. If it is giving any issues, let me know as soon as possible.

This is actually the second year cosplay is at the event, last year we held a Cosplay Fashion show and a gathering. We had around 75 cosplayers attend, with many anime fans who don't cosplay there for support, which was very good for its first year. This year we have greatly expanded events and we are also letting people know about it much earlier.

Hey guys. I'm getting short videos together of cosplayers (individuals and small groups) thanking troops overseas for their service so i can put them all together into like a movie thing and then send them to troops overseas. I'll be bringing my camera to this, so if you would like to be a part of this project, please let me know either here or at the event.

You don't have to be in cosplay if you want to participate. Anyone is welcome to approach me if you want to be in the video.
