I bought a wig from them last month, and it arrived really quickly, but I messed up and got the wrong color. In their FAQ, it says to use the "Help Desk" option from your account dashboard to get a Return number - guess what option is missing? I email them twice and even called the specified number in order to get a little help so I could exchange the wig I received, and never got a single damn response. I still haven't. These guys just suck ass when it comes to responding, seems like.

I wouldn't consider buying the proper one if they didn't have the exact style I need, but as the con is next month I might just be desperate enough to. I just wish they weren't jerks and could respond to their customers.

I can't believe they are STILL having issues. Cosplay.com needs to get their shit together.

Conventions hand out Cosplay.com gift certificates at masquerades, which is a total bummer because their customer service SUCKS. I had a group that won over five hundred dollars in certificates and we haven't even used them up because it's a hassle and a half to even get anything to work from cosplay.com. Most recently I had two wigs ordered and paid for and they sat in 'pending' for four months. I eventually had to run to a local wig store last minute and make something else work. When I tried asking them about it - several phone calls, several messages left, several emails, several forum postings... not a single person can ever get back to me. By the time they do they always have some sort of excuse - 'Oh it was a busy week last week.' And then they just credit some points to your account and hope it makes up for it - but this has been happening for YEARS. I am never going to use those points because I can't ever get an order to actually work! They're just terrible, terrible business people and it hasn't changed in at least three years, likely more, and it probably won't any time soon either.

I recently purchased one of their wigs during the 50% off sale (since I heard people were actually getting their stuff) and received it a few days later. That wig came to me quite tangled, some of the fibers were damaged, and it's just too friggin' shiny. I can honestly say that it's one of the worst wigs I have ever bought although it could have been worse--I could've paid the full $55 instead of $30.24 (after shipping, tax, and points). Several years ago, I bought an old Cosworx Rose (I bought their new Long Rose this time) and the skintop was pretty generous. This time around it was small and pathetic in comparison to the old model. Very disappointing considering this was the main draw (for me) to this particular wig.

The good? The color is gorgeous... that's it. Either way, I'm never buying from them ever again and will be sticking to my usual wig supplier. I'll be writing a full review in the future on my blog once I have the time.

Ok - I fell prey to it. I had ordered a couple of wigs at the end of October, and they came in really fast, and were good quality wigs, and I was thrilled.

I ordered another three from them on 11/04... The tracking number was assigned, but nothing. E-mail, unanswered... got a response from the first PM... but nothing in a week since then.

At what point am I supposed to say "screw it" and put in the PayPal/Credit Card dispute? I'm really disappointed, as I was really looking forward to these wigs - guess I'll be spending my money elsewhere, if I can get it back.

I'd wait another week and if nothing turns up for you then, it's time to open a dispute.

Although I never plan on buying from them again, hearing that Cosplay.com's shipping department is going back to the crapper makes my faith in them waver even further.

This happened to me in late September. I ordered hot pink and got raspberry pink. I PMed Admin about it and he said he'd send another wig in the correct color for comparison, and then at a later date said that he sent it out personally after I PMed him about not having gotten anything a week or two later. I've sent a few PMs since, and haven't gotten any replies.

It's obviously too late for me to file a PayPal dispute, so now I have a Pinkie Pie colored wig when I already have one, no use for it, and less money to spend on other supplies.

I was also one of the people who had problems with them after the clearance sale last year. There were a whole bunch of problems because one of the wigs I ordered was out of stock and as a result I didn't get the other wigs I ordered until much, much later.

It's a shame because I rather liked their wigs and they have the best shades of pink I've seen yet.

I wish I had seen this post earlier...I bought a wig on wendsday it's now friday and it still has not shipped yet, now I have to wait until Monday, possibly even longer for it to ship. They should not be advertizing imediate shipping if they cannot do so. My experience with them two years ago when it was still Cosworx was much better, they seem to have gone downhill. I just hope the wigs are still as good quality as before

Thumbs down

I thought I might give these guys another try. I had terrible service back in May; my item shipped after I started a PayPal dispute.

I have a gift certificate, I was considering using it to supplement an order.

....There is no way to use the gift certificate. How interesting.

Okay, no order from me.

Because of the holiday weekend, shipping resumes on Monday. Sorry if there was any confusion on that.

Gift certificates work fine - just enter it into the Coupon Code section and it will be applied to your order.
