For my general amusement I am usually reading something by Terry Pratchett or Neil Gaiman.

For my Cosplay type nedds I am reading Getting Started in Electronics.

And for my general desire to know anything about anything I am reading Sex at Dawn: The Prehistory of Human Sexuality by Christopher Ryan...

I'm getting back on a Jurassic Park kick. Re-read the Lost World yesterday and moved onto the first book today.

Not reading it yet, but I just ordered The Infection by Craig DiLouie. Read an excerpt of it some time ago and really loved it, so I finally got around to ordering it.

I'm reading some of the Sherlock Holmes stories due to my new obsession with BBC Sherlock. Right now I'm on "A Study in Scarlet".

I love the classic Sherlock Holmes stories. I go back and read The Sign of the Four and The Hounds of Baskerville every few years along with a few favorites from collected works.

I was actually surprised by how good the BBC Sherlock is. One of my favorite shows.

Finally starting the His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman like I should have when I was twelve. My parents generously bought me a boxset of it when I was younger and I somehow never got around to touching it, which outside of being a dick movie is pretty out of character.
I am so late to this party.

At this moment I'm reading a novel called The First Intimate Contact. The story is kind of old stuff but I love it a lot. Actually I have read this novel for at least 20 times but I still love reading it.

A series of choose your own fate books. So far the Indiana Jones ones by R.L.Stine are my favorite.

Cloud Atlas, and a bunch of books on cats because we're adopting some kittens soon.

I honestly really liked that book, but when I tried watching the movie I just couldn't do it.

Just read So Totally Emily Ebers. I really liked the previous two books in the series when I was young, and just realized recently that I'd never gotten around to reading this one...I still like the series. (:
