While my co-worker wants to try and avoid even going out once with the guy once, we're all actually telling her to at least go out with the guy for coffee. Your co-worker should have said no from the start but going for coffee isn't going to help matters. She needs to tell him she isn't interested, not make him think she is.

The whole thing sounds like a shitty situation that could easily have been avoided. Nevertheless, you and your coworkers seem to find it entertaining. I feel sorry for the guy. But whatever. You're all strangers to me and it's not my problem.

Pretty much what I said too. You never know, they may hit it off though :/ I'm not sure if my co-worker being 26 though might turn the guy away. Her having a kid sure didn't...

I do find it really surprising that this customer asked her out for coffee when they have barely talked for over 8 minutes in total. The guy was really talkative with her this past Friday when he came in though, but I don't think they talked for over 3 minutes that day. That was also the most I had ever heard him talk since he's usually kind of quiet.

I disagree. I still find the story of the birth of Jesus to be a charming little narrative (excluding the massacre of Hebrew babies, of course).
