Got some wire to put on my Gumi hat to make the weird fancy things she has sticking out of the hat. Still don't have the band though. Really thinking of trying to find a cheap tie and destroy it to make the band...

Just recently I've purchased a short black wig, a pair of elf ears and a black tail made by a friend of mine for my Rin cosplay. Styling the wig is going to be a challenge.. As I have never styled one before. Any tips?

I'm working on Chewlin right now, Venus's pet. Finish his stem and vine arms.
Who knew leaves are so hard to make in fleeces. O_O I made full batch that once I flipped look awful. >_< Only one turned out all right. I remade 5 medium sized ones last night and 6 more to go (4 large and 2 small).

Start painting Konohana Sakuya's feathers. Honestly, I wish I did this by spray paint and not acrylic. This is taking forever and some of the bigger feathers look crappy. T_T Obviously my painting skills leave something to be desired. Ugh. If only the end feathers did not have such an odd color.

I sure hope I left my Quorra mockup/pattern at my Mom's bf's house, since that's where I'm sewing this weekend. I can't remember what I did with it when I was done OR where I sewed it. I suppose if it can't be gotten back from her house, I can do her arm armour pieces.

Your feathers made are foam/foam board right touchmon? Most spray paint resolve foam so if you went that route you would have to seal them first.
Also for gradient blending you can actually water down acrylic sheer the pigmentation for blending as well if you want to add a bid more colour without adding to much more paint.

ARGH. Quorra just does NOT want to fit right. I really need a freaking dressform. And possibly a do-over of the damn pattern for the dozenth damn time because I think I fucked up the front/collar. ARGH!

Costume is progressing great! =D Just finished the top! Hoping to go out this week (before the FabricLand sale ends) to pick up some Chiffon and Organza for the main dress and the bow on the back. Then A LOT of hand beading and prop making and she is good as done! That took a lot quicker then expected. OwO I usually dont start cosplay till January so its weird being done cosplay #1 before then! Also going to be putting together a possible Prince Mytho cosplay from Princess TuTu for my sister! woooo! XD COSPLAYS! XD
