Just read So Totally Emily Ebers. I really liked the previous two books in the series when I was young, and just realized recently that I'd never gotten around to reading this one...I still like the series. (:

Right now I'm reading a lot of Siobhan Dowd. I really enjoyed A Swift Pure Cry, but Bog Child...eh...not so much.

A Monster Calls, which she conceptualized but Patrick Ness finished, was really, really good.

At the moment I'm reading Rick Rioradan's The Lost Hero in the Heroes of Olympus series. I had read The Mark of Athena and decided to start over from the beginning of the Percy Jackson books. I just finished The Last Olympian and moved on. Those books are SO much better than I could have ever expected them to be.

I like the Kane Family series for how they deal with changes in mythology.

Reading Macbeth. It's for school, but I do enjoy Shakespeare's plays, even if I have to look up a lot of terms sometimes. xD

The Kane Chronicles were really good books too. I really like Riordan's grasp on mythology in all of his works.

I grew up with Greek Mythology. An one of my pet peeves is mixing the Greek Athena with the Roman Athena and the whole Medusa story. The Medusa story Riordan introduces is not the one I grew up with. Thus, it annoys me. I like how he dealt with the Isis, Ra, and Set trinity and all the different/same stories about them.

I grew up on Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology (especially Egyptian since the school I went to was called Raleigh Egypt and our mascot was a pharaoh). I don't mind the mixing so much, but I can see how it would bother some.

Just finished reading the latest Dresden Files book. While not the best in the series, it's far from the worst.

I'm reading Jane Eyre. Well, it's too long, but I have seen the movie before.

Read Sun Tzu's The Art of War in one sitting last night.

It was pretty cool, but it might've been smarter to break it up and let parts sink in before moving on to other ones.
