Yup, word of mouth helped me quite a bit. I rarely even go to nowadays to get photoshoot requests since my slots fill up so fast before a California anime or comic convention starts.

On the other hand, once I start doing other cons like Otakon, Sakura-con, and A-Kon I will probably need to reach out to and other venues since I do not have an extensive cosplay network out of the west coast.
