Blue/Leaf skirt help?
Hi everyone!
I'm going to be cosplaying Blue in her HGSS chapter outfit (aka Leaf, from the games) to Katsucon in a couple of months, and I was wondering if anyone could help me with the skirt? I want it to look as accurate as possible, but I have yet to find a pattern that looks even close. Should I try my luck at editing a pattern, or....? I'm pretty new to cosplay so any help would be appreciated! ![]() |

It's a pretty simple skirt with pleats in it. I would look up a pleated skirt tutorial. This is a skirt you can easily make without a real pattern.

eBay is your friend: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-High-Wai...item337cb4ee6e
...and so are thrift stores ^_-. When it comes to an article of clothing as common as this one, I would personally rather buy a pre-made one than make it myself. Unless you get an amazing deal on fabric and notions it's bound to be a lot less expensive ^_^. Last edited by ~H~ : 11-29-2012 at 10:25 PM. |
