So I'm attending my first anime convention here in Denver in a couple months. It's a 3 day event and I have a line-up of cosplays for each day and one of them is the Black Spider-Man from the 1990s cartoon. This costume is basically a morphsuit as it covers head to toe. The problem is the hotel that hosts this convention has a "No shoes, no shirt, no service" policy. My only problem I have with that is the shoe part. I want to maintain a fully authentic look without being denied access. Could there be some kind of shoe i can wear inside the costume?

What if you cut a pair of old shoes down to the sole, and used black elastic bands over the foot and behind the heel to make it so that you can attach a sole without interrupting the look of the morphsuit and protecting the morphsuit from extra wear and tear on the feet. (Just from 3 days of wear my morphsuit's hands got kinda ripped up.)

A slip on jazz shoe might work or even a ballet slipper.
