How would I remove the glass lens from a magnifying glass?

So, I'm constructing Caitlyn's top hat from League of Legends (Picture here: http://www.wallpapershunt.com/user-c...Wallpaper.jpg), and I need to get magnifying glass lenses for the lenses on the side of the hat. I found some on amazon that would be the perfect size, http://www.amazon.com/Classic-High-P...gnifying+glass . Does anyone have any ideas as to how I would extract the glass from those three?

It's easy with metal magnifying lenses. The handle screws into place onto the ring which causes the ring to tighten around the lens and hold it in place. So if you just unscrew the handle, the lens pops right out.

Thanks for the tip, do you think the ones that I linked work that way? It's hard to tell from just pictures.

Yup. I can see the seam where the ring joins together right there on the handles. And I can see the beginings of screw threads right below that. Worst case, they put some thread-lock glue on it, which you overcome with a little elbow grease. But I doubt they even bothered doing that.

Okay, thanks for all of your help. I figured if worse comes to worse, I've got enough strength in me to snap it or something. Thanks much.

Oh, I did some profile creeping on your page, noticed you're in b-more, so I'll see you at otakon perhaps
