yeap I was wearing mine around July 4rth and it was the 80's also. BUt I had fun with it because I was at the panel with Okamoto who is Rin in the anime and I was able to ask him questions and then I got to address him Niisan .

WEll the anime is getting a release in dub soon so its going to get popular again.

I actually plan on going to New York Comic Con as Rin Okumura and could use some advice!

I plan on going as Rin unactivated; I plan on buying the blazer and tie, as I have no skills in sewing whatsoever :P (My first cosplay, actually!)

The pants kinda look like a simple pair of black slacks, so no problems there.

The red boots are rather odd: I have no idea where I would actually find a pair of shoes like that and I would rather not shell out 50+$ for a pair of shoes I'm probably going to only use once. Any suggestions for cheaper methods/subsitutions?

Also, as I am a much bigger fan of the manga than the anime, I know that Rin's hair is supposedly a navy blue in the manga. The problem is, I go to a Catholic School, where hair dying is not allowed, and I have class the day after the con. Is it worth dying my hair? And how quickly could I get it out?

Overall, I'm excited to do this cosplay and I hope that it comes out as a success! :P

i have some pics from Tokyo in Tulsa and some pics of my Kuro! didnt have time to make the blazer but i found a nice one so it worked and the pants( grabbed the wrong pair) but loved them as well! the horns and collar turned out nice and stuff, i loves them!

Just got into this show, LOVE IT. I wanted to cosplay Rin right away because I can relate to his personality. I will be doing a genderbend. I was thinking maybe my boyfriend could do a genderbend of Shiemi since his personality is a lot like her's BUTTTT idk how to figure out a good hair style so he might go for Ryuji. I think his body type is perfect for him. I would love to cosplay Mephisto, so in love with the character. I found out about him and Amaimon(sorry if I spelled it wrong, derp) at a convention and I just loved the way the characters looked.

I would like to buy my Mephisto cosplay online but I can't find a trusted site for it yet.

Tomorrow I am going to get myself some fangs and a jacket for my Rin cosplay.

I already have a wig, the shirt, and pants!

I've had good like with a few ebay seller actuallt as they get in contact with the naufacture and you can send them you custom mesurements to make fitting better if you contact them first. But it also confirms you are talking to sells representative about the details on the costume.
