Glee cheerio skirt pattern
Does anyone know where I could find a pattern for a cheer skirt like the ones in Glee.
This is what they look like: http://theabpsychphenom.files.wordpr.../glee-cast.jpg http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__...t_car_wash.jpg http://pmchollywoodlife.files.wordpr...lead.jpg?w=600

If you want a commercial pattern, Simplicity 3689 (view E) can be modified to add more pleats. Otherwise, look up the Babydoll (Suckerpunch) skirt tutorial on YouTube. If you're not sure how to add more pleats, make a mock up version with paper or scratch fabric.

Actually it's easier than that- they aren't pleats at all but overlapping flaps (girl in the back has her leg forward showing this). Essentially you will make a dozen or so rectangles of two fabric colors, then sew them together on to a waist band. The hard part is calculating the size so that you don't wind up with a funny half sized strip somewhere.
