It does not seem so, and based on what I'm seeing in said thread, it seems our best bet is Sunday simply for the reason of not interfering with the other gatherings on the other 2 days of the convention.

Also if I might suggest, keep it out of the pool area. That has been real crowded and gets moreso every year.

If not the pool area, where else would you recommend? I'd suggest something, but last year was my first time at ALA, so I don't know the layout of the LAX Marriott too well.

I'm still holding for Saturday, and I'm considering doing an unofficial gathering as well. Although I think how they're arranging the gatherings this year is very impractical.
If you'd want to make the facebook event I'd love that!

If necessary but I'd like the pool patio by the gazebo right next to the pool. No matter what I am aiming for 1:00pm on Saturday so honestly the location doesn't really even matter anymore.

And change of costume plan, I think I shall be there as Story of Evil Miku, and my friend as Story of Evil Haku, if she decides to doin the gathering.
But if there is the unnofical gathering on sunday then I'll be Victorian Rin
