Another one from Anime Crossroads, with a white mage:

I promise I'll stop now. I just love this picture to death.

I found out that there's a Hancock Fabrics near me! I went there and they have so many to choose from, I think Rosa will be a little bit easier for next year now, since I think I remember seeing some good choices for her. Can't wait to get started on her, but I'm keeping myself busy with my current projects for now.

Oh my goodness.. they do! It was my first time going to one. I used to use Joann's then I moved and my selection was kept to a Hobby Lobby and Walmart. Both of them having very poor selections. Joann's was a full hour away, too, so I was sad. But this discovery? So lucky! One of the most impressive selections I have ever seen across three states. Plus it's not even in a major town, which is a plus.

@ Zaiten: That's awesome!! I wish I had one near me. As for your comment on Wal-Mart's selection, not only is it limited, but the quality of fabric seems pretty low as well. Either way, I am glad you have a good option available to you now.

Finally got some pictures of my Daryl WIP cosplay posted in my gallery. I have to wait a bit before getting a wig due to finances being tight right now, but soon hopefully, and in the meanwhile, figure out what to do for the belt. I've gotten some green cotton fabric from Walmart that I can hopefully do something with.

I got Palom done! We are totally wearing our After Party costumes to the FF meetup at Ikkicon to see if ANYBODY recognizes them.
Zaiten- so jealous you have a Hancock near you! I am like 45+ min away from every single fabric store in town. Hancock is more expensive than JoAnn I have found but their selection is way better. There's an awesome fabric district in Dallas that I'm going to check out next week when I'm back home.
MetalArtisan- the pic with the white mage is my favorite of your bunch! SOOO cute.
Uzuki- Daryl is a really neat choice. Hope it comes together well for you.

I can't wait for the Ikkicon meetup! It's really put me into the drive I needed to finish everything. Especially since I keep procrastinating on Aerith Jacket. >.> Everything else is mostly done, sans some minor details.
@Celine: I keep wanting to say it but.. those pants! I am in love with the stripes.

@ uzuki54: Looking good so far! I hope to see more really soon.
@ Celine: Awesome!!! That looks great!! I hope someone recognizes you at your party!!
@ Zaiten: Sounds like Ikkicon is the place to be. And I totally agree about those pants. They are too awesome.
@ kaligoddess: I can't open the photo, I will try on a different computer so I can give some input.

Yup ^_^. The dress is pretty much finished (just needs some detailing). Now that the holidays are over hopefully I'll be able to get the accessories done too.
@MetalArtisan: Cute pic!
@Celine: That looks amazing *_*. Well done! Will you be doing a shoot?
@Kaligoddess: Looks like they are going back and forth between a raised, textured link followed by a lowered, smooth link.

Sadly, nobody recognized our FF4 After Party costumes, but we got a few amused folks that could identify Tellah & Edward at Ikkicon. Or at least they were entertained by my friend's crazy hair and light up belt.
Kaligoddess- I don't think the stuff on her belt or shoulder is overlapping. It looks like those watchbands where the pieces are on an elastic but lines up side by side when not stretched.

@ ~H~: Awesome! I am really looking forward to progress/finished shots!
@ Celine: Omg, I saw your picture and immediately fav'ed it. Awesome!!! And you both look fantastic!
My Cosplay Update: This last weekend I went to visit FinalEva and we did a few FF6 photoshoots. I only have two posted at the moment, but you can at least see the slave crown and the flowers I added to my cape: http://www.cosplay.com/photo/3333732/ I hope to have a few more in the future.

Wow, I didn't know there was a thread for this.
Celine and Seifer you guys look amazing!
This coming year I don't have any costumes planed from 1-6 but next year I want to make an Edward costume and force my friend to be Edge. And I am for sure making Asura (Arms and all), inspired by the picture of her in the artbook.
