Extended Batt. Pack

My extended battery pack has just arrived along with a 32gb SD card and 64gb CF card. It was weird that I cannot order anything bigger for the SD over here in Afghanistan, but it is still better than the 8gb that is in the PX.

Any who, the extended battery pack is great. Adding another battery and an option to use 6AA's if needed. The weight it adds is nil compared to the weight of the camera and the button layout for vertical shooting is very well thought out along with the design for the grip it adds.

I would recommend it to anyone who is shooting for long periods and who wants the added comfort while shooting at different angles. Amazon has it down to 210-230 from it's retail of around 400 for the EOS 5D mk3.

If you are using a larger lens (ie. 70-200 f/2.8) the hand strap is useful too. I don't know if this is the exact one but it's something like this.
