I'm looking for curl tutorials for wigs for this character:

I've seen some tutorials, but they do curls like;

and I'm trying to avoid those kinds of curls, I'd rather make them softer looking, if that's possible. If it's not, does anyone know what length with you need to start with for the typical spiral curl whatever in the second image? I've not seen any tutorials which suggest wig length.

ALSO! Due to her wig colour being IMPOSSIBLE to find, I'm dying my own wig (sharpie method) and so the technique would need to be friendly to that kind of dying process (I've never done it, so I don't know what would be best for it)

This might help. Godsavethequeen is also on this site. Above all I'd suggest looking/posting on the wig section.

Thankyou ^_^ I did have a look through the wig tutorial page, but I'm not too sure about the layout of cosplay.com atm, and couldn't really see what I was looking for.

This is a good thread to start. http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=132516 It's under FAQ's in the wig and hair section. The "Search this thread" button is very usefull, but comes up under the ad bar on my computer. Several promising post came up when I typed in +wig +styling and +curls. There is a tutorial about fluffy bangs where they use two pairs of rollers and then brush to make it fluffy.

Hi, I'm looking for a tutorial on making a webbing design on an arm and/or sleeve (kind of like the webbing on Spider-man's suit). What kind of material would be the best/easiest to use for this? Any help would be appreciated.

It depends who thick you want the design. You could use anything from crochet thread to yarn tacked on or knitted/crocheted/tatted and then sewn on. Or you could use cord, like parachute cord or window blind cord. Also, with window cord you can cover it with a fabric of your choice and make piping.http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2012/01...se-piping.html

Try a eyelet stitch. Your machine might have it or try this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwD85Ihm82c

The best I can suggest is looking at the tie like a head scarf without the two side points. Or a broad rectangle with points. I'm sorry I can't word this better.

I googled Yukata pattern and got all sorts of leads. I recommend doing the same. The best answer for me was this thread.http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=238568 Isn't a Yukata just an unlined cotton kimono usually worn in summer and at hot springs? I'd also like to second the Folkwear pattern idea.

Hi there! I'm sure someone has already requested this, but I work 4 jobs and don't find a whole lot of time to search through pages and pages of threads. I'm really hoping someone can help me out! I am looking for a tutorial on how to make a generic soul reaper shihakusho as I am planning on cosplaying Yumichika at Tekko this year! Any helpful links would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!!

Hi everyone!
I am trying to make a blue rose cosplay from Tiger and Bunny. I am looking for a good corset tutorial along with some ideas on how to make the piece that fits around her neck. I haven't had much luck finding any tutorials for blue rose online surprisingly.
THANKS!!!!!!! ^o^
