Hello y'all!
Hello!
I don't really know how to start this so.. Here a little bit about me o-o I'm Mary (Nelyra), i'm 24 years old and I live in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. I'm a native French speaker so I apologize if my english sounds weird to you : i'm a bit rusty... I'm married to a wonderful man and I live with him and my two cats. I work as a graphic and web designer full time and beside being a design geek, I also love to play video games, read, craft, cook and sew. I'm pretty new to the cosplay world when it's time to do it, but i've been a lurker for so many years and now I decided to join the band wagon. I'm really into the handmade experience (in so many spheres of my random life) so you won't see me buy already-made cosplay. My plans so far are to make : Purple Link, Lottie Baskerville and Rydia from FFIV. I'm a plus size woman and I kinda wanna show the world (haha) that even plus size woman can cosplay and do it great! Cheers up, curvy ladies! I'm looking for serious and mature people who are passionated about the cosplay world, and also i'm looking for some tips and tricks. I like to share my experience and read about the experience of other people. I often find the work in progress more interesting than the final result itself (that's just me being amazed by how people do some awesome stuff!) I hope I'll meet some great people here and I can't wait to get use to the community! ^_^ See you around! |

Well, hi there!
We seem to have a lot in common  I'm 32, from Greenfield Park, married, 2 cats... and only started cosplaying last year. Also, curvy girl w00t!I'd looove to have someone to share ideas and cosplay with. My cosplays (for now) are leaning towards Disney/Cutesy/Doctor Who-ish type genres but I love some of the things I've seen coming out of the anime and video games spheres. I'd love to hear from you!
