I was reading this thread when I found someone talking about which restroom to use when you're crossplaying. I was telling this to my dad and he said, "Well, it matters on what you are. What you really are." He says it wasn't the weirdest thing he's said before, but he sure wasn't planning on saying that tonight. XD

My dad saw me dressed as Tuxedo Mask for a cosplay party and said "Oh dear god, I can't not judge you when you wear things like that." If he thought that was bad, he should see one of the cosplays I have planned.

Me: "My wedding dress is going to be so complicated to make!"
*Cue strange looks from everyone*
Me: Uh... Not that type of wedding dress...
-It's not really a wedding dress, I've nicknamed Euphemia's dress that because that's what it looks like to me. Also note: I did know it was going to be difficult, I was explaining it to my friend.

Me showing my friend some potential future cosplays including Genesis from FFVII: Crisis Core (note: the friend tolerates cosplay talk but has never shown interest in participating):
Friend: You know if I ever cosplay anyone it would be him.
Me: Really? If you do not only will I give up the character I want, but I will make the costume for you and you can decide who I cosplay as. Please, please, please say yes.
Friend: You do realise that I don't even know his name, don't you?
Me: I can teach you.
Friend: On second thoughts no; it sounds like too much work.
Me: NO!
-However, they are still considering cosplaying just not for a while, so it's not a total loss.

I was semi-seriously suggesting that when I cosplay Pegasus at a con, I should get a plastic wineglass and a bottle of cranberry juice to carry around. I think my friends were afraid of me carrying around an open glass, so I said this as a joke. I meant it as "it's Bakura's job to make sure nobody puts drugs in my wineglass" then I realized it sounded like I was putting Bakura in charge of drugs XD

You might be able to make jello in the wineglass/ bottle so it looks like a liquid but won't spill.

Yeah, my boxers were falling down, but as I was in my flightsuit and had all of my costume on, I couldn't pull them up... XD

"Something keeps stabbing me in the head. I can't take it anymore!"
A piece of my helmet was poking me in the head. I tried to deal with it but I finally had to take off my helmet and snap of the piece.

"I forgot to take the batteries out." Which isn't so bad until I added, "I can't hold onto it, my gloves are slick and it keeps slipping out of my hand!"
I was talking about my blaster, how I had forgotten to take out the batteries, and I was having a hard time holding with my gloves on it without putting my finger through the trigger guard ('cause I was trying not to fire it, but the trigger is really sensitive and it "fires" with the slightest touch).
Even though I was talking about my blaster it sounded really dirty after I thought about it... XD
