How to style these bangs

I'm re-making my Mei Terumi cosplay, because I wasn't happy with the first go.
One of the problems last time was the bangs. They looked bad because of the way i had styled them then tried to shape them.
But I'm re-making it.
This time I'll be using a epic cosplay wig,and a set of short wefts.

I was thinking of, sewing more wefts into the front.
Using what was already there to make the part covering the eye, using a large roller on an angle then using hairspray and a low-heat hairdryer to shape the bang. Then letting it out, thinning the end, and using G2B glue to put it in shape.

Then for the part on (our) right, using the sewn in wefts, backcombing them at the roots so they come over the first part, which will make them look thick ideally. Then using the same method to set the shape.

Do you think that method will work? Just worried because I don't want to ruin the wig like I did the last one.

That should work, but is use some fabric glue on the ends of the fibers to hold it together. Also don't be afraid to go with a higher heat on epic wigs, since they can go up to 450 degrees sometime only a little bit of heat isn't enough
