Bowling for Soup also did the theme for Jimmy Neutron, according to iTunes, and a horrible cover of "I Ran" for Saint Seiya when that was brought over to the US. The more useless crap you know.

Not going to lie, it's catchy. I sat through 3 seasons of P&F via Netflix,and enjoyed it, but then the signing increased, and Gravity Falls came into existence, and I lost interest.

The Marvel crossover that's happening next year intrigues me though, because apparently they're fighting the Red Skull, who is kind of a Nazi. In the literal sense.

I can see changing the lyrics from 'dirty red skinned devils' to 'dirty shrieking devils', sort of, but it's still a very obvious racial comment. But the changing of 'their whole disgusting race is like a curse' to 'here's what you get when races are diverse' is not really any better of a change. If anything both statements are equal with being horrible and racist only the second statement includes all races as being bad and we shouldn't try to intermingle with any non-white people at all.

I am just very confused on who would go to these lengths to record over the original lines with new ones that are not any less awful.

I didn't realize they did that with Pocahotas but I knew it was done with Aladdin.

In the song 'Arabian Nights' it originally was:

I understand the change for Aladdin, because uh..it was kinda super inappropriate and I am not sure how those lines slipped by without anyone going: "Hey is it kinda racist sounding if we imply Arabic people are brutal and mean?" but the Pocahontas lines weren't changed to be less racist sounding.

The whole point of the segment sung by Ratcliffe is to highlight his racism and hatred of the Native American's. So I can understand that the lines are going to reflect that and you know what? Fine. He's racist and evil and mean, fine. But they didn't change his lines to be any less racist and evil and mean then they originally where. So it's kinda weird.
