Black eyes?
This may be a noob question, but I have dark brown eyes, so dark that they are often mistaken for black. http://ts2.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4789026820130237&pid=1.7
they looked like that. So say im trying to be koga from inuyasha, he has blue eyes. Will I be able to achieve this with contacts? or are my eyes so dark that contacts cant help me? Also where would I obtain contacts that would be able to show with my eye color? Thanks in advance ^^

Yes, you can get the blue eyed look, you just need really opaque contacts.
If you want the enlargement effect too, you can look into circle lenses. Since those are manufactured for an East Asian market, where black-brown eyes are very common, most of the sample images use dark-eyed Japanese and Korean models. So, you can see how certain lenses look on dark eyes. I also tend to run Google image searches on certain lenses to find "real world" photographs that aren't potentially Photoshopped and glammed up for marketing. (And of course, always get an eye exam before buying any type of contacts to make sure you're getting lenses that fit your eyes.)

I've used Freshlook Colorblends too, the color does tend to be much more subtle. Their sapphire blue showed up decently against my light hazel eyes, but when I tried violet, it barely showed up at all.

I heard that Turquoise made for a brighter blue so I tried those. It's still subtle though (my Gemstone Green ones seem to 'pop' a little more) but it does look quite natural and covers up my original dark eyes. And Freshlooks Colourblends are comfy (for me, anyhow).
