Why is it only now I get on a roll of making pep stuff in the last week of break?! Damn it! Oh well...at least I was productive. Was able to churn out a cyrax helmet and a gatchaman prototype. Gotta make a smaller one tonight. Ugh damn it and work on that other project.

Productive morning? Sort of?

Repainted my rosary...trimmed in bangs on a wig....now all I have to do is figure out where my belt and fedora went and I'll be all set for tomorrow night.

Styled my Pascal wig. Still don't really like it but I think it's more of the color clashing with my skintone than the style that's bugging me. :/

Did a quick dye test on some white Rodeo fabric. It went... about as well as I expected, considering it's 40% polyester.

Now what was my group thinking about using this fabric for again? o:

A little freaked out about a "questionable" request on DA for pictures and the person seems to like bare feet... Well then, I guess I have went through my first creeper thing. -_- This is seriously making me question my idea of making slave version Morgiana now, big time.

Finished hammering the grommets and eyelets into my Pinkie Pie bodice tonight, and was able to try it on for the first time in the 3 months I've been working on it.

Holy crap - it actually fits. It actually fits, and the embroidery gets pulled properly so it lays flat against my torso, and it didn't instantly disintegrate into ash and ribbon like I had a nightmare that it did.

On top of that, it is as supportive as some of my professionally made corsets from RenFest (which was a huge fear I had with regards to this bodice). Now that I've seen it on me, though, I think I will be embellishing it quite a bit more, since it actually looks a bit more princess than pirate. Possibly due to the fact that it is a lovely mix of fuschia and baby pink...

But I just can't get over the fact that I actually made a bodice, with boning, and embellishments, and everything, and it fits me properly.

My friend had to drag me away from the green bias tape and purple fabric today. Seriously drag me away so I wasn't tempted to buy them and try to cosplay Zoisite from Sailor Moon now. Dangit brain, you will cosplay Zoisite next year, focus on the cosplays you're doing soon!

I have a Cultural Anthropology class at 8am on Monday. Seriously tempted to walk into class with my blue wig on and my cat ears. The professor already knows me from last semester and honestly saying. "How do you like this for culture?"

My effing University is too damn conservative sometimes. They're really not to open to a lot of diversity so I'm looking to really change that this coming year with my organization with a cosplay day. I'm the only one on campus that cosplays.
