Bangs not curling >_> Help?

So I have a heat resistant wig that I bought online, the bangs are not super long, but aren't the short above the eye bangs, they are perfectly straight, and I need them curled, but when I tried to use my curling iron, nothing, not a curl, not a wave, it just looked like I didn't even try. Then I thought maybe it was heat resistant in the way that it can't be styled by heat (don't know if they actually have wigs like that, but I'm kinda new to wig styling, so I figured maybe?), so I used my straightener on another part of the wig, and it straightened it without ANY problem, so I am super confused about why my curling iron won't work.

I really need the bangs curled, and I do NOT want to do the hot water and curlers method, so does anyone know of a third way you can curl bangs? Or maybe a solution to my curling iron not working?

Thanks in advance =)

For a wig to curl it has to be heated and then set in the position u want it in. When u normally curl hair u curl it then take it of the iron before it sets, this is impossible with wigs. The way to curl it would be to curl it on the curling iron with it off and while its still curled put a blow dryer on it for a few seconds or until the fibers are warm. Then hold there until the wig is cooled

Well I've curled many many wigs simply by just using a curling iron, of course I hold it there longer so it gets hot enough, and as soon as I release the wig from the curling iron, there will be curls, and they'll start to drift down, so I hold them in place until they cool off ... this wig will not react at all to my curling iron, and my curling iron gets SUPER hot, hotter than any blow dryer ... I just don't understand why it would take to my straightener but not my curling iron.

Yup, I tried it with the straightener too, which didn't work at all either, I don't get how the straightener can straighten the hair so easily, but still not be able to curl it ... is there like ... curl resistant fibers for wigs? XD

I had the same problem with one of my wigs. I put unseated curlers in, blasted it with really thick hair gel, let it sit overnight, and then combed it so it wasn't clumpy.

I find with heat resistant wigs I'd I don't pin the curl in place they go limp coming out of the curling iron.

I personal put the hair into curler and pour boiled water over that section of hair to set the shape and let them air dry into shape. Work every time.

I'm not sure if I'd be able to pour hot water over it, because the rest of the wig is styled, and I don't want to risk any other part of the wig getting wet cuz the styling will come out, I think I'll just go with the hair spray/gel idea, thanks guys ^_^
