Tried a hot pot thing for the first time tonight. It was soooooooo tasty ^.^ This week has been awful for me food wise. So unhealthy, but waiting until next week to start eating decent again lol

I usually don't eat a lot of junk food but this Christmas break holy moly have I been eating s many baked goods and they are made by my grandmother and anything by a grandmother is just ten times more delish!!!!!

I went home to my parents' house for Christmas and my dad always gets a ton of edibles from his patients, colleagues, and more or less everyone in town who knows him. And so they gave us a bunch of things to take home~ Including fresh deer salami and pepperoni and deer steaks! The pharmacist goes hunting a lot with his sons and so they gave my dad a whole lot of one of their more recent catches.

Deer is delicious. Super delicious.

Just had Cheeseburgers in Paradise for the first time yesterday and it was great! Also the chocolate nachos in the words of the waitress were "oh my goodness" lol.

Then to add to the heart attack, I had Five Guys today for lunch. Yeah, I'm going to die pretty young...

Mum made dinner tonight...
Gluten free noodles with poblano peppers, tomatoes, garlic and broccoli..with mozzarella cheese on top...yummy. And then...I ate a Risen for dessert...and I'll probably have some earl grey and dark chocolate and shortbread biscuits before bed.

Yes! They were oh my goodness amazing! It was pretty much chips (including chocolate ones) with chocolate syrup, chopped up strawberries (looked like tomatoes in nachos) and then ice cream for dipping. It was soooooooooooooooo good!

On other food related talk, I had Outback Steakhouse for the first time tonight. New York strip with blue cheese on top. I swear I need to diet soon XD

i discovered eating sweets then eating something really healthy is a good way to get eat sweets without the sugary after effect. i still have to burn off the sugar though. so chocolate fudge pudding i got for xmas here i come.

My brother was going to visit yesterday so I was going to make custard choux buns, but he had to cancel because his girlfriend wasn't feeling well.

Since the ingredients are going to have gone off by next week I'm making them tomorrow anyway. =3

Got my fiance truffle salt (and three other kinds of fancy salt) for Christmas. It is so smelly. D: It's in a glass jar and it still leaks truffle salt smell all over the apartment. I didn't notice it while I was buying it in the store, probably because I was surrounded by a thousand other containers of spices and blends. We put the jar in a ziplock bag and put it in the pantry/cupboard so I can breath without smelling it, but every time I open the pantry door, BAM TRUFFLE SALT SMELL.

It tastes delicious, though. 6% truffle, according to the guys at the spice store.
