I've having some issue with dyeing this fax Fur

To dye to Raspberry pink to match this wig.

I've tried the dye method but I's mess up the texture of the fur. Not sleek anymore just puffy as hell though even with brushing.



I'll be trying the permanent market option next for wig dye but I wanted to see if there was any other options?

traditionally because Faux Fur is a polyester or Artificial fiber...it doesn't take dye a bit or at all..and if you treat it with heat or too roughly it will get all matted *which sounds like what you're experiencing*

also, when doing the sharpie dying, make sure to wash it a few times till the water runs clear after letting it set for a few days, This will make sure it doesn't bleed onto your clothes or when wet

I thin the heat killed it as I was experimenting with acid dye (but on low shimmer) as I had some left. The red dye took a bit it definitely changed the texture.
