I'm wanting to do a cosplay of Medli from the Windwaker, and because she's a rito, she's got feet kind of like the hind feet of a dog or cat, and I was thinking of trying to mimic it by using high heels and removing the heel but I have a feeling the shoe won't be strong enough to support itself (or me) without the heel. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I was thinking I could use those clear plastic ones and maybe they'd be harder? I would really like to get rid of the heel though... It'll obviously require some balance and isn't the most practical, but I am determined and my feet have great stamina haha

I've removed the heels off of some shoes before. My first time wearing them and they weren't too hard to balance. Just be aware you'll probably be slower than normal, will get tired of walking more quickly than say.. regular shoes, and your calves will KILL you a day or two later ^^;
