Idolm@ster Ryo wig suggestion?

Hullo!

I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to figure out what kind of wig would work best for Ryo because his hair is a bit awkward. It's a kind of dull brown (sometimes slightly green) colour, and ends around his ears (or sometimes chin) but is quite big and sticky outy.
I figure it'd quite some cutting and styling, but I don't know where to begin with the wig itself. @_@

This is Ryo (far right):

The best job I've seen is this cosplayer:

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You would need to do a bit of fluffing with hair spray at the top and middle section but this wig came to mind.
