Hiya c: I'm going to probably cosplay a gijinka Fennekin for Otakon 2013, but I can't find a wig that is to my standards.

I was looking for a short yellow wig with white tips, or a white under-layer, but apparently that is impossible to find.
I DID, however, find this wig, which I might consider buying and cutting to my satisfaction:

Or, I was also thinking of dyeing a white wig or bleaching(?) a yellow wig.
...can you bleach a wig? I don't think you can, I think that would end terribly.

So, I need suggestions/ideas/opinions/etc.
Have you seen any good yellow wigs with white tips?
Any advice on coloring a wig?
Any advice on anything at all? XD

u can dye a pure white wig to a pale yellow which i think would work. but heres the deal i wouldnt use the wig u found off of ebay as it looks not completely great, i mean they just say its synthetic fibers not that its heat resistant or non heat resistant. u also can buy two wigs one medium length white and one short yellow and merge them

Have you thought about buying two wigs and combining them to create the two-tone effect? It would also make the wig fluffier. Arda and EpicCosplay both have a nice variety of yellow and yellow-orange shades to choose from, and are reliable high-quality sellers. Or, if the cost is an issue, you could get white wefts to add in at the bottom of the base wig.

Coloring a white wig would work, but combining or wefting would save you the trouble of making the dye the right color.

Hmm, sounds like a good idea. I think I'll try that, thanks Especially since I already have a yellow wig, I'd just need to get a white one.
