Benihime - She's got a few. The kobold fight outfit (first), her home outfit (white and teal top), her yellow sweater one (there's also a coat she wears over this during the fishing episode), her outfit when she is in KBO early and then her default one.

I have references for 4 of them here (posted it earlier in the thread. She has quite a few just in SAO

So she has what...that's 5 and two of them have cloaks/coats?

So...I've been having nothing but issues with the vest for Kobold fight Asuna. Like seriously. I've been swing for what...over 6 years and a stupid VEST is getting the better of me.....its been a lot of stupid mistakes but by the end of day tomorrow I plan on having this outfit DONE. At least the vest/skirt/shirt. Then I'll also have pictures to show you guys. Still waiting on my wig but it's in the US!!!! And my hubbys Kirito wig should be this way too! I'm so excited!

Also. Totally got my roommates to finally watch it! They're on the last episode of the SAO Arc. GAH! So happy~ Also saw a guild today on Guild Wars 2 called Sword Art Online and my guild that I just joined...pretty much all of them have heard or at least seen a few episodes of SAO. I can't believe how quickly this anime spread! Makes me SO happy!!!

I'm really happy how many people know about it too. I've only heard one person who didn't like it and that's because he hates all animes about video games. Thinks it's a "dumb concept."

Oh well, it really is a great show and it's silly to write it off because of a bias.

Can't wait to see your finished outfit and the wig. What wig did you get?

Lol the guild is called Apollyon and it's on the Eredon Terrace server. They're pretty cool people.

Yeah....that's a really dumb reason to not like something. =/ His loss!

I went with this one because I like the more natural color for her hair. I haven't gotten it yet but I will be sure to post pics as soon as I do!!

I'm actually making REALLY good progress. I finished my vest last night and I'm working on the bottom of the shirt (taking awhile because I have to make my own bias tape) but it's coming along nicely. When I finish the bias and sew the shirt together I'll post pics. It just won't have sleeves.

Sorry for the double post but for some reason coscom isn't letting me edit my other one. But I have progress on the Kobold Fight Asuna

I felt like it took me forever to do it. The bottom part of the shirt took the longest because it's pleather and if any of you have sewn pleather you should know how difficult it can be at times. Just need sleevs and bias on the collar then it's done. Probably going to do the skirt before I do those though so I can make sure the shirt isn't too long.

Thanks, I hope I don't have to redo my freakin armor though....I dont WANT to redo it, but it's too small (as in the inside doesn't fit my shoulder correctly because damn paperclay freaking shrinks and I forgot..). I'm thinking I can break then bondo it up wider (my friends armor broke and her dad did that and it doesn't look broke anymore) to fit, but if not, I think I'm screwed..Boot armor is coming along nicely though lol Cardboard glued together with wood glue? Hell yea that's indestructible lol

Just curious, what did you use for the white 'trim' parts of the jacket? Was it bias tape, ribbon, or something else entirely?

It was bias tape. And I just used the fabric glue "Unique Stitch" on it. It holds up really well..

No problem. But make sure you get the 3yrd polyester kind that's folded and ironed because the ribbon like kind is too thin.

Jason - Yeah the bondo fix should work.


Ughhhh so I didn't have enough fabric to do the skirt with all the pleats. I did it with just a couple pleats and it looks awful. GUHHH I don't know what to do. I have SOME fabric set aside for boot covers....I might just add that to the skirt so far and find something else for the boots. =/ This has never happened before. I usually overestimate on my fabric.
