KFC for dinner since it's toonie tuesday and I and Dad felt too lazy to cook. Yup. Gonna regret it soon since the greasiness always makes me kinda sick....

Ate a green apple as a snack. Not that exciting, but it was tasty. Trying to eat healthier, so I can get in better shape.

I've been on a little cooking roll lately. Made a lovely soup with meatballs spiced with cinnamon and cumin, sweet potatoes and carrots, and Israeli couscous. Another night made a salad with roasted cauliflower and butternut squash, pomegranate arils, chickpeas, and an apple cider dressing. Then I made chocolate lava cakes for dessert.
Tonight will probably be pasta primavera. I have zucchini, summer squash, grape tomatoes, broccolini, carrots, peppers, and whole grain pasta on hand so I just have to decide whether to saute or roast the veggies.

Went to a wedding expo earlier today. I have 12 samples of different cakes in the kitchen right now. I tasted probably 7 or 8 others at the expo itself.
Some are really delicious! And some are just kind of bland and sugary. The best sample was a teeny square plate with two fancy toothpick skewers of an orange cake and a chocolate cake and had a teeny blue macaron on it!

My favourite meal in the world right now it marinated chicken stir-fry with noodles. Cut the chicken into strips and marinate overnight in equal parts of lemon juice, runny honey and soy sauce.
However, tonight im having home made tai style lamb curry, nom!
